Link Requests

The higher the number of relevant links from other sites to yours, the higher your overall ranking. Link popularity can be defined as using third-level linking to determine a site's topic relevance. The search engine looks at which sites link to the sites that link to you. For link popularity, the quality of the links is the most important factor, not the quantity. Sites pertaining to a particular subject have a higher density of cross-links to other sites that are relevant to the same subject. High-density cross-linking indicates a topic "cluster." Sites in such clusters are assumed to be highly relevant to the clusters' topics and earn a higher relevancy ranking for that topic. Accessbit identifies the importance of cross-links as well as the amount of time this process can take up.
